Taking the TT deep into a bog wasn't the original plan.  I seem to recall that idea was to head north, admire the rugged Western Irish countryside for the day, and figure out the route as we went along. Looking at the (paper?) map and trying out the "Nokia Drive" GPS on the Windows Phone led intentionally or not to taking a small road through an orange, wet, and gently undulating terrain.

It was raining of course, but we pulled the TT over at one point and wandered about near a small stream, with an abandoned white hut starkly huddling nearby of unknown origin or purpose.  Lining up the TT in the shot, making sure no actual humans were around to detract from its pure second generation Bauhaus inspired Teutonic design, it sat there under the steel grey clouds looking something like a probe reconnoitering an alien landscape.
