Apparently these cliffs receive nearly 1,000,000 visitors a year and are one of the most popular tourist sites in Ireland.  I was a little skeptical of visiting such an oft seen site (Harry Potter?) usually preferring lesser known locations to explore and take photos.

However, at this early stage in my visit I had not yet come down with the unstoppable Irish super-bug I was to start to feel the pain of 24hrs later, and so rather enjoyed the afternoon scampering across the various paths that run the length of the cliffs and ignoring the fairly dramatic Irish safety signs posted sporadically along the path.  As I now clearly understand, the name actually translates to “One gentle breeze and you’re dead!”

Still….looking back some time later, the views really are as a good as promised!
